Our Montessori Liberty House Toys Kids Kitchen Helper Step Stool is a cleverly designed.  With high walls and railings for a child to be safe and secure whilst helping in the kitchen. Designed with an adjustable platform for safe use by children from about 18 months through to ages 5 or 6.

There are lots of benefits for children using a kitchen helper (also known as a learning tower). For the very young they can start to develop gross motor skills like climbing.  By standing on the adjustable platform they are able to observe and learn daily tasks.  As they get a little older children can develop fine motor skills (pouring, cutting, mixing) as they take part in food preparation or washing and drying dishes. Ultimately your little chefs will even start to stir ingredients for different recipes and assemble simple foods like sandwiches or fruit cocktails.

The kitchen helper is a safe way for children to be at kitchen counter height without worrying they could fall.  Children will develop practical life skills whilst enhancing self-confidence and by spending quality time together and teaching new skills parents will create significant memories for their child.
Our design features a happy chef graphic which will appeal to children’s sense of fun and increase attachment to their new kitchen helper step stool.

To cater for children of different ages/height the Montessori Kitchen Helper Step Stool has an adjustable standing platform with 3 options – height 300/380 and 460mm (age range 18 months to 5 or 6). The standing platform is simply adjusted using an allen key (supplied).
